A Pluralsight Flow alternative for Git analytics
5 November 2026 · The DeepGraph team
Pluralsight Flow, once called GitPrime, reads Git and pull request data to show how engineering teams work. Flow is now run by Appfire: Pluralsight's Flow page redirects to Appfire, and Appfire's Flow documentation says Flow moved to the appfireflow.com domain on 23 July 2025. If you are looking at other options, this page compares Flow with DeepGraph, a Git contributor analytics app, fairly: what each covers and where DeepGraph falls short. We checked every statement about Flow against Appfire's public documentation on 5 November 2026.
What Flow covers
From Appfire's own documentation:
- Many Git hosts. Flow supports GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, both in the cloud and on your own servers.
- DORA. Flow shows the four DORA metrics once you set up how it finds deployments, and change failure rate and time to restore also need incidents set up.
- Tickets. Flow can read ticketing systems such as Jira.
What DeepGraph covers
- Project reports for GitHub, GitLab (gitlab.com), Bitbucket (bitbucket.org), and local Git projects: commits, lines, and files changed over time.
- One profile per person, even across several names and emails. DeepGraph joins the clear cases, and you join or split the rest. See Git contributor stats, one profile per person.
- Teams and teams inside teams, and people and teams on one chart.
- DORA for GitHub with no setup. DeepGraph guesses which deployments, workflows, releases, or tags are production, and you change the guess with one click. See DORA for GitHub.
- The commits behind the charts. Click a day to see who committed and which files changed.
Where DeepGraph falls short of Flow
- No self-hosted Git servers and no Azure DevOps. DeepGraph works with GitHub, gitlab.com, bitbucket.org, and projects you upload from your computer.
- DORA for GitHub only. GitLab, Bitbucket, and local projects have no DORA view.
- No Jira or ticket data, and no pull request review numbers.
If you need any of these, Flow or another tool will suit you better.
Where DeepGraph may suit a small team better
- Try it in minutes. Open a sample report on the DeepGraph home page without an account, or paste a link to a public project.
- A free trial without payment details. Every new account gets a 14-day Core trial.
- Flat monthly plans with unlimited contributors. Core and Scale each have one monthly price, whatever the size of your team; see plans and pricing.
- No scoring of people. DeepGraph shows activity to help you understand your team, not to rank developers.
